SHOOT: The countdown we see flashed in the newspapers and on TV may present us with more than just football during the world cup.
Former lieutenant colonel Frederick Rabie was arrested when police found almost 10 000 rounds of ammunition, a 9mm pistol, SA Defence Force equipment and explosives in a raid on his Worcester home.
The raid was reportedly part of a police investigation into members of the extreme right-wing organisation, the Suidlanders, for allegedly planning to sabotage the FIFA World Cup.
