Went to gym in my lunch break and weighed myself. I've lost almost 4kg in about 6 months (this sounds like so little when compared to what SA's Biggest Losers are losing). Even so, percentage wise it is a fair amount. I'm aiming to get under 80kg and head as close as I can to 75kg.
I have to say Phedra Cut has played a role, as has eating a breakfast with more fibre, cutting out bread, eating more fruit and drinking more water. I haven't been an angel though. I have made a few too many trips to Steers and Nando's, and especially recently have pigged out on icecream. But overall I've behaved pretty well.
From here on out I want to eat more vegetables and fruit, and more fish, and less meat. Less braaivleis.
In terms of activity I have added swim sand runs to an already fairly hectic program of cycling. I'm also going to gym at least twice a week to do fairly high intensity rep-stuff which is quite exhausting, but it turns out, effective. This builds muscle, but not bulky muscle, and is also effective in metablosing fat.
My biggest issue remains sleep deprivation and a lack of rest. When I have free time I tend to work - even if it isn't 'job' work, it is still activities intended to earn money.
The fact that Northcliff was comparatively easy on Sunday now makes sense: I am lugging half a bowling ball less. Apparently.
