On the Couch

I love this couch. The TV is on the opposite wall, and I can rotate the flat screen and watch movies while lying on the couch.
I've seen Revenge of the Sith. Lots of action, somewhat cheesy, but I found it quite enjoyable. I am not sure to what extent Skywalker is believable. He comes across very emotionally erratic, but it doesn't really work. Lucas has a cardboard cut off problem, with his characters. His female characters are also really badly defined. Like all women are good for is crying, being beautiful, and having babies.

It's interesting how the magic and intelligence that started this is not really sufficient any more. I've heard it said that the intelligence used to get to where we are now, isn't the same as what we need to get beyond the here and now. In other words, if we merely rest on what we know and have, it's not enough to maintain a status quo. Nature requires a force that opposes its intrinsic entropy, which is the constant struggle, competition for scarce resources (food, space). Without adaptation and increased higher consciousness, there's no way we can expect to thrives, individually and collectively.

May the Force be with you.
