Man accused of murdering 27 900 people declared fit to stand trial at 89

SHOOT: It's about time. Amazing how lazy justice can be the bigger and more heinous the crime. And how zealous it can be when the 'crime' is invented, and little more than rumor-by-spite. Example: http://www.nickvanderleek.com/2009/07/view-from-my-bicycle-column_13.html

BERLIN, Germany (CNN) — Alleged Nazi camp guard John Demjanjuk was formally charged Monday with being an accessory to about 27,900 murders during World War II.

The Munich State Court ruled 10 days ago that the 89-year-old retired auto worker from Cleveland, Ohio, was fit to stand trial.

He denies the charges, saying he was a prisoner of war during the conflict, not a camp guard.
