"The 11 cases, all university students, presented with flu-like symptoms at various medical centres and confirmed positive by the National Institute of Communicable Diseases," spokesperson Fidel Hadebe said in a statement. They were all suffering mild symptoms, he said. The students were squash players from different parts of the country who stayed in the same university residence for a sports event in Gauteng.
