The Fly

Have you ever seen someone on TV or a movie shooting at a fly with a shotgun? Today in the class, a green, armor plated (possibly a Haematopota pluvialis)buzzed around while I took about a thousand light saber swipes at it (with Black Mamba, who is now becoming increasingly useless now that stickers are all the rage, and the kids are falling over themselves to co-operate, read, say something in English), below the the white flurescent tubes of the ceiling, and a few whiskers above the kids ducking head. Score: Fly 1, Teacher 0.

I called Lonnie over to inspect my ondol (underfloor heating) as it appears that the ondol is waging a war of warming against the aircon. It registers 26.5 C now, but Lonnie said it is off and that's normal.
Lonnie is the same guy who saved Fransa when she first left my apartment and got lost. He showed her to my door.

He mentioned that Antony is having his birthday party tonight in Blue Moon. I've just called Corneli and and neither of them knew anything about it. Kind've bizarre.

I suggested to Lonnie that we do an 'everyone-in-the-building' get together in Blue Moon.
Met Laz earlier today in Starbucks. He was showing Jasmine pictures of the lightshow near Baeksok. Says it finished this Saturday, so I need to go there before then.

At school I have finished almost all the textbooks and the news is I must now develop my own materials...Interesting. I have a great storybook called How I Became a Pirate. Will see how that goes.
