Dhaulaghiri rises opposite Annapurna. Both these mountains, and the stories surrounding them, captured my imagination even when I was at school. Everest is not an easy mountain to climb, but with perserance and luck, it can be done. That is not true of this mountain and Annapurna. To get to the top here, requires mountaineering skill and mastery.
