Gold is the new Black [FASHION]

I find it ironic that Europe's fashion designers have chosen 'gold' as this season's in color. See gold is a sign of abundance, of wealth, of profligacy, and Europe is really facing the opposite - austerity. I think a more appropriate kind of fashion right now would be hessian beiges and clothes designed to resemble rags.
