Look, it's obviously an improvement on W., but get this one aspect. The US (thanks to Obama) is hoping to double energy from renewable resources in 3 years. This will provide enough energy for 6 million households.
Let's do a reality check. 3 years! Let's be generous and say that's 30 million people using renewable energy? That's from a population of around 306 million, and in 3 years, the US population will likely grow by more than a couple of million too. The population is projected to reach over 400 million by 2050.
If it takes the US 3 years to merely double their use of renewable energy they are - let's face it - going nowhere fast.
I'm not saying it's not worth trying; I'm saying plugging one leak in a ship with your finger is better than nothing, but maybe you're better off hunting for a few wine bottles, and using their corks. You might sail better with a bit more forethought.

Rather sad that a nation is pinning all its hope of being saved from a situation which took years to develop on a president who says he can fix it in such a short time. Think it will take more than Obama to save their country! There is certainly no quick fix here. Time will tell.
