SHOCKER: Look inside Chinese fur farms (if you can bear it!) -VIDEO

Pledge to go fur-free at PETA.org

When undercover investigators made their way onto Chinese fur farms recently, they found that many animals are still alive and struggling desperately when workers flip them onto their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails to skin them. When workers on these farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an animal's leg, the free limbs kick and writhe. Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals who struggle too hard to allow a clean cut.

More.

NVDL: I've seen eels skinned alive in the same way in Korea. Some people think fish and bugs don't really qualify as creatures. I'm pretty sure they don't enjoy what we do to them.

Maybe we out to re-think about eating meat - the abbatoir is definately not a good place to be for a placid cow or lamb!!!We wouldnt do it to our dogs so why do it to other animals?

For sure. I quit eating meat for a while, then realised to what extent human beings are monstrous meat eaters. Barbecues and the average restaurant are basically small festivals of blood (all happening behind closed doors). The kicker is eating more produce is good for one's health, aids weight loss, is good for the environment and combats global warming...oh and it's also a damn sight better for the actual animals involved. That said, meat tastes good to many, and to those I say, if you still want to eat me, try eating less of it.
