Well the pundits are saying it's 50/50, but we already know where all this is going. Soon America - the beleaguered superpower, will feel it is unavoidable, it is not an option to simply diminish.
The Infinite War is the War for Finite Resources, and this has already begun. The grim reality is most intelligent people still believe there is a way out, that 'technology will save us'. That might have been possible if the global human population was about 60% of what it is now.
We've breached the planet's carrying capacity, so it's a matter of time before we face a visceral correction. We'll see this reflected in stock markets, weather, energy system, disease... The End of the World? No, just the end of Easy Motoring, Suburbia and McDonald's. For some though, perhaps, that IS the world.
