1km broken and mixed.
Initially there was no one from the Triathlete Squad. Then 2 came along when I had about 500m left of my last set. He said they went cycling this morning, and that I should not go alone as it's not 'safe'. I agree, but need to get a cycle in this weekend.
Good news: on the way to Sungho Pool a guy stopped me and pointed to the ground. I'd dropped W10 000 when I pulled out another W10 000 from my pocket (about R50). That same guy offered to buy me a drink when I came out. Nice people. In South Africa that money would have been snatched and gone befor eit hit the ground.
More good news is the pool will be open from 21:00 - 24:00 between July 18 and August 31st, so will use that time to really improve my swimming.
Bad news: weight is 82.1kg. I guess I should go back to eating icecream, burgers and drinking coke. Since starting to exercise and watching my diet, and avoiding drinking parties and eating situations I've gained almost 2kg. Need to up the ante exercise wise. And eat less bread.
Got my 4 pairs of crotch destroyed trousers. All sewn up nicely. Visited the shop near where I used to live for about 2 years. Chatted to the store owner. Good guy. Bought 5 bags of popcorn seeds.
Need an early night.
