Didn't enjoy the job this morning. Had lots of bad and disturbing dreams. Kids nearly ripped my shirt trying to pull me into class, and I kept imagining one of them stabbing me in the ear with a scissors, even more after a student did something like that into the eye (fortunately with the blunt end) to one, and then swiped another, narrowly missing him. They often mill around me when I am helping a student, and sometimes they get impatient and then hit me or find some other creative way of getting my attention. It's no big deal, but when you're a bit tired and sleepy you don't always anticipate what's happening.
The director paid me and asked me to continue to working there form now on. Also gave me some info so I can go to a place closer than Uijongibu fdor my alien card. Much nicer guy than the one in Hwajeong.
Rainy here, lots of summer thunder this morning, but just a light drizzle so I could cycle to work. Would have been late otherwise.
Need to get in a big run and cycle this weekend, and at least 2 swims. I feel bad when my swim is not 100%. That's usually a mainstay, so I am going to try to get it better.
Since property I am interested in South Africa is quite cheap, and the rental may absorb most of the repayments, I am considering buying it as an investment.
I see the world economy worsening, but whatever it does I will still need a house and a home. That said, it is likely to pull the floor out of houseprices, so waiting a year or two or even more may be a better option.
Since I have a good job now and a decent income, I feel I might aswell consider taking a look at the map of the road to a home. It might not closer than I thought.
Need sleep, and without dreams.
