The opening of the Maggie Laubser Exhibition is tonight at 7pm. I will probably go to that if I can get back from cycling in time. After blacking out earlier today I feel a bit less inclined to put my body through too much. I am, after all, cycling over 160km tomorrow.
I'd like CJ to come to this exhibition. He obviously knows a lot about the insights into art, and has his own strong opinions and points of view. Going to Oliewenhuis out of the blue like this will be great violation of his strictly habituated lifestyle, but we'll see, maybe he'll be keen and enjoy it.
