All five of the foreign teachers had to judge. To my left is Eric, a Canadian, and behind me is Mira, from New Zealand.
Mira and I gave similar average scores (of around 70-75%), while Eric was far more generous, probably averaging around 80-90%. I figure, if you're learning a language, you can never really arrive. The same with writing. There's always something left to learn, some way you could have expressed yourself more effectively. My highest score was 85% and my lowest, 55%.
It's her birthday on Monday.
