PRETORIA. The Australian Consulate in Pretoria has confirmed that it has been "overrun" by South African judges applying for citizenship after yesterday's ruling by the Supreme Court of Appeal which found that Jacob Zuma can be tried for corruption. According to Australian officials, the "poor little bastards looked absolutely terrified of getting the big gig".
"We got the first call about ninety seconds after the judgement," said Consulate official Butch Codpiece.
"He was trying to play it cool, the poor little bugger. Asking things like, 'Hypothetically, if a person were interested in moving to Australia today, without any luggage, and possibly without his family or any money, depending on how long his wife took at the ATM, but that person was a judge with twenty years at the bench, how would one go about getting the necessary forms?'"
He said that some of the judges seemed "particularly highly strung".
