In the end, the best deals on cheap airlines are simply booking way in advance. I'm paying over 5 times the above amount for 1 person, just because I didn't book well in advance (unfortunately I only received all the necessary info at the last minute).
Can't they start an airline based on last minute bookings that still provide cheap airfares?
Anyway I've already enjoyed some benefits from being on Discovery. Think after being a member for a week I got really sick, and claimed about R400 immediately in terms of a doctor's visit and medication. Also saved something like R400 on the flight I booked.
