Merry Christmas from Cyrpus

Kali Spera, (good evening) Nicho

Good to hear from you again, most of the time we've been in Cyprus the comp has had problems, or our service provider or trees falling on our telephone line, or basically I'm just a really crap pen pal.

Please don't take it as not thinking about you or any of my friends in SA, ITS BEEN PRETTY HECTIC over the last 5 years or so. Glad to hear you are back in SA and into writing, the magazine sounds exciting and your website is interesting with some good photies [thanks]. How is your Dad and the rest of the clan doing, Is Alex and Janet back in SA or not?

Sue and I are ok but pass like ships in the night as we work, work and work some more, she is a teacher at the International School in Paphos, and I,m doing landscaping and pool maintenance for mostly folks from the UK, WHO HAVE BOUGHT HOLIDAY HOMES IN CYPRUS. We are talking bucks man these people are absolutely rolling in it with the average house price sitting at the equivalent of about R15 000 000, and that's a holiday house.

Cyprus is really hot in thr summer and even the temp today mid winter was about 26, the winters can be bitter aswell with snow so it's a bit weird.
iveli, Margarita and Liam are doing fine and growning up as true rough Cypriots which worries us somewhat as there are limited opportunities as oppossed to education in SA, I could tell u some horror stories. Otherwise we carry on in the typical mid-life situation mortgage, debt, children and work with zero time to play, the weird thing is that I wouldn't swop it for anything, can it be that I am finally becoming really incredibly BORING!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, Nicho have a wonderful Merry Christmas, and please really wish the rest of your family and friends the same

Kali Nigte (good night)
