Legal experts claim a doctor who irresponsibly gave out Propofol, which is also known to cause vivid sexual dreams among patients, could be charged with manslaughter.
SHOOT: It becomes a vicious cycle - you can't sleep, you use drugs to wake you up, to put you to sleep. Pretty soon you're a terminal chemical reaction, not a person.
A POWERFUL surgical drug dubbed “the milk of amnesia” was among the cocktail of medications found at Michael Jackson’s home after he died, sources claimed last night.
The white fluid, named Propofol, is used to anaesthetise patients before surgical operations.
And experts warned it is so dangerous that it should ONLY be administered in hospital — with one declaring: “It could kill you in a minute.”
The drug can lead to cardiac arrest — Jackson’s cause of death — if mixed with narcotic painkillers like Demerol.
“It should definitely not have been in Michael Jackson’s home. Doctors should not use it in their practice or patients’ homes. And people should not have it stored at their house.
“It’s used for anaesthesia, to knock people out before operations — it’s incredibly strong. It’s known as milk of amnesia because of its strength and milky consistency.
Lidocaine, another drug used to treat the pain of Propofol jabs, was also found at Jackson’s Los Angeles mansion, insiders say.
