SASOL Shares surprise - punch through R300 level

SHOOT: Last week SASOL was sniffing around R268 - R278. Today SASOL punched right through to end the day at R301.50. Meanwhiule Goldman Sachs reckons the stock could easily be worth R365.

Sasol Ltd. (SOL SJ), the world’s biggest producer of motor
fuel from coal, rose 11.51 rand, or 4.3 percent, to 278 rand.
The stock was rated a new “buy” with a price estimate of 365
rand at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.

AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. (ANG SJ) increased the most in six
weeks, advancing 24 rand, or 8.7 percent, to 300 rand as the
price of bullion climbed as much as 1.7 percent to $912.77 an
ounce in New York. AngloGold’s stock was raised to “buy” from
“neutral” at UBS AG.
