Oprah holds her breath as Santa Barbara winds shift away from her home, wet fog rolls in

Oprah [on Twitter]: The fire moved up the mountain burning grassland. Praying the winds don't change.

Oprah [on Twitter]: Thank God the winds died down in Santa B. And fog rolled in.

Santa Barbara County public information officer Sarah Gibson said the Saturday morning fog that rolled in from the ocean wasn't expected.

She described it as "a nice, thick, wet flow."

The fog was expected to burn off by midmorning but Gibson said humidity on the higher slopes in the area wasn't expected to be as low as it has been.

However, the National Weather Service said wind could gust to 20 to 25 mph in the surrounding Santa Ynez mountains.
