SHOOT: After being jailed for 12 years for the murder of his family [5 members - 2 sisters, a brother and his parents), the David Bain trial is being heard once more. It is currently underway. The motive for the murder is probably crucial, however at this point it cannot be called relevant. The motive could involve allegations of incest. Either Robin Bain had had an incestuous relationship with daughter Laniet, or David had (or both). When the house was burnt down David Bain's bitter hatred at having lived there emerges, and he was known to have said:
I have no feeling for the house."
From the photograph below is is obvious that Robin Bain didn't commit suicide as David has speculated. The body has been moved from a praying position. The prosecution also cite no burn marks on Robin's cranial skin, no fingerprints on the gun and the difficulty and rarity of using a rifle for a suicide. Note also that there is almost no blood on Robin's clothing, not even his shoes. Blood found on Robin's body is consistent with a 'downward spray',and the only blood found on Robin's clothes was Robin's blood.
Nevertheless, there are still some who proclaim David Bain's innocence. Either they do not read a lot, or they aren't capable of thinking logically and in detail.
Here's a great post that cogently covers the essence of the case.

Hi there,
ReplyDeleteI was curious...where did you obtain this image. It has taken me alot of time browsing the net to finally find a link to this image for a university assignment. However, I was curious as to what context this image was first published? Was it police evidence?/police who took the photo and if you know why the image was posted on the internet the would be VERY helpful.
Thank You
