David Bain's Defence paints portrait of Robin Bain as a disgusting, useless cadaver

SHOOT: No matter how you spin it, that David may have been learning German and about to embark on an international singing career (ja right), the fact is David's clothes were covered in the blood of various members of his family, and there was evidence that David entered each of the bedrooms in the house. The same cannot be said for Robin. The only blood on Robin Bain was his. So the whole court case is an elaborate and rather silly ruse. Amazingly, David's delusions of innocence have caught on to a public that is obviously just as receptive to delusions.

Robin Bain

Robin Bain looked like a "walking cadaver," according to a
Ministry of Education official who carried out an Education Review
Office report on Dunedin's Taieri Beach School when he was
principal in 1993.

They were "running chaotic," she said in evidence on the 43rd
day of the Christchurch High Court trial of Robin's son David Bain,
who is accused of murdering five members of his family in their
home in Dunedin in 1994.

The jury in the Bain murder trial's has also begun to hear
evidence on claims that Robin Bain was having an incestuous
relationship with one of his daughters.

Much has been heard about the allegations, but this is the first
time it's been heard in evidence.

Stephen Cousins employed Laniet Bain on a casual basis in
1993.

He said she told him her father had been having sex with her
since she was a child living in Papua New Guinea.

Cousins said he offered to accompany her to the police station,
but she declined, saying she was going to go in the next few
days.
