You watch the spiral of these storms dispassionately. It's just a feathery picture that moves closer to lines on a map. Well, the reality can be quite different, and quite brutal. In Gilchrist, it really does like Mother Nature took a razor and shaved everything off the face of the Earth. I don't know why these 2 houses didn't disappear with the rest. Maybe they were made with reinforced steel. Maybe it was dumb luck. Anyway, watch the video here.
