This is demand destruction, but after the fact. None of these changes reflect a constructive, proactive shift, rather, it's a reactionary constriction, and probably not enough. There needs to be a complete reworking in how we operate - meaning huge investments are needed now in rail, renewable energe, nuclear energy, and organic agriculture.

coal energy or nuclear? fact is, we can't really afford both, but coal is a terrible polluter. and we have learned how to roll out safe nuclear power, like we do mcdonalds outlets. maybe you should read up about it instead of being hysterical.
