You know when things are really going badly people say:"Well, at least you have your health." Well, when things are going really badly, we won't even have good weather to rely on. In fact, bad weather is going to be driving even higher fuel and food costs, and will have a deep impact (adverse effect) on human and planet-wide health for the foreseeable future. With $145 oil, the last thing we want is another crippling hurricane season. What do you think are the odds of having a mild hurricane season?
The first named storm this year, Arthur, formed in the Atlantic the day before the season officially started June 1 and soaked the Yucatan Peninsula.
Bertha is the second hurricane this season, and the season lasts from now until November, with the next two months being the peak months.
