In the Swim

Ah, that's better. Took this picture with my new Sony camera. Pretty clear eh. Had a good meeting at Heartland and went from there to have lunch at Cafe Dulce outside Virgin Active. I saw Johan as I was polishing up a chicken mayo sandwich. Then I did some gym. I almost burst an artery in my brain on the pullups. And 5 minutes after I was still feeling lame in my arms, and my fingers and arms were burning and twitching.

Pullups: 10
Swim: 1km
Weight: 86.05kg
Physio, dry needling and some unconventional stuff - a vast vibrating platform, having a hand placed under the small of your back: R200

After Petro I picked up Fransa and took her to Cattle Baron. We sat outside on the patio - lovely balmy evening. Fransa ordered a bowl of spinach salad that was so huge, it looked like it could feed a small cow.
I went vegetarian. The waittress, with short blonde hair, just smiled and smiled. It's amazing that there are people that are just so filled up with happiness. I told her she should go into sales. She'll probably make a killing...although I imagine the smile will eventually become forced.

When we left the restaurant I ended up driving behind a small car with a registration plate - EC - Eastern Cape. So I'm driving slowly behind him when he suddenly stops - he'd found himself trapped in a corner of the parking area - and starts reversing straight into me. I make a frantic grope for the hooter and go PHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. Only after the 35th E (see bold)did the guy stop, within half a metre of the car. When we drove onto the main road the same car pulled up and a very old, and slightly sleepy looking old man was driving. I wanted to get out and make huge excessive waving gestures while bellowing: KOOOOO KOOOOOOOOO.

Am going swimming tomorrow at 6am with Jacques and Petro at Virgin Active. What a stunning gym.
