After the airport we went to Janet's birthday thing at Irene Dairy Farm...Allan took photos with his camera phone. A really charming fully functional dairy. Had a barbecue buffet, and wires spanned between massive oak trees sprayed a fine missed over the umbrellas and canopys below, making it a lot cooler and pleasant. Yes, it's already very hot here.This picture was taken the next day...before Cindy Anne's party. Marshand, Christo's boy, was doing backward somersaults the day before and I just couldn't NOT TRY. I am grossly out of shape and practise, and managed to somersault and land on my feet, but the backward somersault required more guts. Allan spotted me, although everyone didn;t want to watch...I did a pretty nasty flip, but landed on my knees. Want to try again when I go back.
In the front of the garden they're extending the patio, and building a pool.
Quite amazing to get off the plane, and find myself walking around in a t-shirt, bare foot, doing somersaults, swimming, playing one bounce soccer on the lawn, going to two parties, stuffing myself with incredibly delciious grub... and driving...doing all this with my girlfriend and seeing so many friends and their children. It's kind've overwhelming, but in a good way.
