Grrrr...again

Posted by PicasaAllan, what's the name of this puppy again?
For me, one of the things I love about 'home' here and South Africa in general is that you can keep pets comfortably, and they live happily in the homes and gardens of their owners.
Right now, as I sit here, I've got the cat sleeping on my lap.
In Korea, lots of pets stay locked up all day, many in high rise apartments. I often heard the neighbors door rattling for ages as the poor animam in there pawed on it, depserately to escape its Square Concrete Confines.T hey only see the light of day on the occasional weekend when their owners drag them off to the park.
I played with some white rabbits in Alex's garden, and later helped Janet stack some bricks under the wendy house, to prevent them hiding under there when they're allowed to roam free.
Animals and people need plenty of green and plenty of space to find the peace and quiet that is needed to refresh and thrive.
