Buy A Bicycle

Some interesting headlines on Oil, like this one: Oil Prices Tumble. That's a ridiculous headline given the near emergency level they are at. That's like a weather forecaster saying, of a Hurricane going from category 4 to 3, Winds Die Down.
We will see some respite. But probably from sometime in November, once the winter really sets in, let's say Thanksgiving Day, but probably before then, America will find itself paying ludicrous prices for heating their hom,es (they use natural gas), and will begin to find their country is unable to meet demands for basic nationwide electricity demand, and heating.
Since the world has sent oil to America, overall reserves will soon be lower everywhere. Right now a lot of US's own production is still below 50%, and obviously each day that this continues, puts pressure on the market. You see, the oil may not be coming out of the Gulf, but people are still driving around the Gulf. Now they'll want, sorry, demand, their oil (for gas) from somewhere else.

Pretty soon there will be a situation where when a country or community desperately demands oil, those who have will not be willing to share. That time will be socially unstable, and one of the simple bottomline consequences will be one simple reality: food shortages.

So what can you do? I've covered that before. But here's another suggestion. Get ready for less fast food, more local fruit and vegetables and buy a good bicycle. Posted by Picasa
