I dutifully went to the bank today, in the pouring rain, and handed the cashier two very big electricity (aka air conditioning) bills. One for W145 000 and another for W248 000. That's a total of almost W400 000. Imagine my surprise when she reiterated that the total was only W248 000. That the second bill was cumulative.
I got an email from biz-community, and see Marie Claire, a South African magazine, is having a competition for business ideas, with R100 000 as prize money, in the form of venture capital or seed money.
I am going to prepare something, something that I believe in very strongly, and is groundbreaking, and is actually even more indispensable given the Peak Oil challenges that lie in store for us.
Got to go and teach...
