Korean Wedding, by Karlee Zelmer
Korean weddings usually are held in lavishly decorated wedding halls. They invite everyone they know. The guests all bring money (not presents) for the bride and groom and then pile into the hall for the ceremony. Not every one can fit inside so some can watch the wedding on TV screens in the lobby or dinning room while they eat. No one listens to the wedding, they just give the money, take some phots, eat and leave. There are no speeches, receptions, or dances, there isn't even a first kiss. This wedding was a nice change from that but it still was very Korean. There was no kissing of the bride, cutting of the cake, or speeches, although, some friends did perform songs for them. It was a beautiful day out in the sunshine and I really enjoyed myself.
