That's my record for getting home from work. With a taxi I could probably shave off another 10-15 minutes.
It's quite a nice feeling to step out the door of my school building, feel the fresh air, the streets wet and freshly cleaned, and have a whole beautiful evening ahead of me...with someone special. It's a nice feeling to have someone to go to after the dreariness and tediousness of work.
Today was actually not bad at all. I felt very sleepy at work, and wanted to be lazy and have no hassles from the students. They seemed to feel the same way. We sang a lot of songs, and had a lot of fun.
I even launched a little snack party in the 18:30 class. I gave one of the kids a W10 000 note with the orders to buy some chips and cooldrink.
I'm listening to a Lionel Richie song I downloaded for Fransa: Just For You. Have you heard it. It's got a nice ring to it. Now for dinner, I'm starving.
