Well for Gerhard the Giraffe, it was 4th time lucky - I managed to get these shots yesterday. I have others where the giraffe looked straight at me for about 5 seconds (obviously in recognition since I have been stalking the 4 of them for about a week now).
Two or three other giraffes were wandering around beside the road, but those photos are less clear, and have some leaves and branches in the way.
Now I can go to Soetdoring and get some pictures of lions.
There is a zebra in a small park of Dan Pienaar road that I might also be able to find if I am in the area again with my camera.
