Another view of Grotto Beach. There were a lot of bluebottles lying around, but the stings get destroyed in the surf. Some signboards near here said that ancient tools about 1.5 million years old had been discovered in this area. They were used, I think, by a people known locally as Strandlopers (beach walkers).
