Body is hurting a bit today. Left shoulder is quite stiff and hurts when I turn my head left. Right foot is still hurting. It is raining today so no cycle in the park. Even if the weather was good I probably would have done just the swim today.
The teacher from New Zealand offered to cover my Friday hour, so I am cleared to take off to Thailand now.
Xanadu offered me W30 000 discount per person if I can get two more people to come along. Maybe I should send a few emails and see what I can swing. It's worth W30 000 after all.
Here is a spending pattern for just one morning:
1) Buy a Lotte Cookie (W200). Not for me but for a singularly outstanding student in the 9:50am class. I offer the cookie (almost the diameter of a CD with thick cushions of cream and yummy chocolate) as an incentive for good behaviour and it has turned demons into angels. It's also interesting for me to see who will be the next student to display extraordinarily high levels of angelic behaviour.
2) Since it was raining today I caught a taxi to SungHo Pool. W1600.
3)Entry fee into the pool: W4500 - That's more than R20, which is really steep for just one swim. I guess you'd pay the same at Virgin Active though.
4) Taxi back to school: W1500
5) Lunch: Hotdog sandwich (on sale at a discount) W1500
Total: W9300 (R52 or $8.40)
